GBS worked on this project from Stages A-D, and established the detailed interior and exterior layouts. The project involved a large new extension for Neonatal cots together with ancillary and support space.

The project featured the first use of an alloy cladding system at the John Radcliffe Hospital (chosen as a deliberate foil to the white ceramic tiling on the main facades of the original hospital buildings).
