Women's Centre
As part of the Trust's plans for improving Maternity Care at the JR Women's Centre , the scope of the project included the redevelopment of a 4 bed bay into 2 single family rooms on Level 5, and the installation of two new birthing pools to the birthing rooms on level 7.
Following close consultation with the Midwifery and nursing teams, the brief evolved to include the use of fabrics, finishes, controlled lighting effects and art to enhance the overall comfort and ambience of the rooms.
